It was 1916 and in Turin the “Calzificio Torinese” was born, initially producing underwear and socks, and later in the 1960s, a sports and casual line called Robe di Kappa, later simplified over the years to Kappa.
The brand has had a very close relationship with the world of sport since the very beginning, especially football, becoming the official sponsor of Juventus.
Even today, in fact, the brand supports sports federations and important national basketball, cycling and rugby teams.
The Kappa logo , two people sitting back to back, is unmistakable, as are the side bands of repeated logos, applied on sweatshirts, trousers and T-shirts .
It's impossible to talk about Kappa and not think of these two distinctive traits that have made the brand's history.
The Banda Japan line is very interesting, offering both sweatshirts and sports trousers in a minimalist style , as well as items with a more sophisticated design such as sweaters and sweatshirt dresses.
Kappa's constant blend of the latest trends and vintage sportswear, combined with its numerous collaborations, has ensured that this historic Italian company has maintained a prominent role in the world of sportswear over the years.
